    • I Ribe var rektor Christian Falster død i samme måned. En tidligere elev, provst Anders Raarup, skrev et mindedigt, som blev trykt i Dansk Posttidende i november 1752. Allerede i december blev endnu et digt trykt i Dansk Posttidende, skrevet af Ambrosius Stub "Critik over et ligvers".
      Denne kritik er det eneste digt, Ambrosius Stub fik offentlig­gjort i sin levetid. Ambrosius Stub dryssede sine digte ud over venner og bekendte, men skrev primært på små papirlapper, eller i hæfter.
